I also use finale, but only have notepad. and i could use your help figuring out how to make my compositions into mp3s. thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't think Notepad allows you to convert the music you've made into MP3s. It might be possible to give your Notepad file to someone with the full version of Finale so that they could change the piece into an MP3 from there.
